2018 Manufactured Housing Institute National Congress & Expo Comes to Las Vegas

We at ManufacturedHomes.com were energized and motivated by the success of this year’s shows at Louisville and Tunica. Now, it’s just a short week and a half until one of the largest, most important manufactured housing industry events of the year. The MHI National Congress & Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing is coming to the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, April 24-26.

This year’s MHI Congress & Expo will feature top quality educational workshops, seminars, and networking receptions. Especially noteworthy are pre-event forums focused on existing manufactured home communities and developing with manufactured homes. The MHI Congress & Expo offers three days of impactful education, with time to connect with some of the most successful professionals in the industry.

HUD Secretary to Deliver Keynote to Manufactured Housing Professionals

Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Ben Carson, will deliver the MHI Congress & Expo’s keynote speech on the morning of its second day.

Secretary Carson’s address to the Opening General Session promises to be a must-see event for industry professionals.

As HUD Secretary, Mr. Carson is in the perfect position to make significant changes to the way the manufactured housing industry operates.

HUD has announced a “top-to-bottom” review of its manufactured housing rules.

Secretary Carson can help pave the way toward changes to regulatory rules and actions which will have a positive impact on the manufactured homes industry for many years to come.

MHI Congress & Expo Unites Industry Under Goal for Growth

Those attending the 2018 MHI Congress & Expo are sure to leave Vegas with new relationships, innovative ideas, detailed information from all sessions, and an inside look at the latest technologies and products available for the industry.

MHI’s steadfast and tireless advocacy for the manufactured housing industry is well known. Its dedication to what that advocacy represents—creating and growing opportunities for homeownership for hard working American families—means their annual event is not to be missed. As the industry convenes in Vegas next Tuesday, all in attendance will have the chance to learn how to better serve this effort, and how to create their own opportunities in the process.
