Clayton Homes and UMH Properties Receive Top Honors for 2017
Award season has already started within the manufactured housing industry. Announced May 3 in Las Vegas during the Manufactured Housing Institute’s Manufacturer of the Year Award, Clayton Homes was named manufacturer of the year. Also taking home top honors for 2017, UMH Properties, Inc. won for ‘Community of the Year.’

Clayton Homes Delivers “42,000 Homes” in 2016
Handed out annually by the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI), Clayton Manufactured Homes won the prestigious ‘Manufacturer of the Year Award’ for 2017. Manufacturing modern prefabricated and modular homes from over 35 building facilities around the country, in 2016, Clayton delivered over “42,000 homes.” Representing a staggering 5% of “American housing” sold, Clayton’s president of manufacturing explained the reason for their products popularity: “Our homes are an essential part of solving affordable housing across the country,” according to Builder Online.Port Royal Village Community Wins Top Honors
“Home Sweet Home” for more than 19,000 prefabricated housing units placed along the eastern seaboard and throughout America’s Heartland, UMH Properties, Inc. currently owns and operates over 106 manufactured housing communities.
