Keith Casenhiser wins Jack E. Wells Award at C.M.H.I Convention.
The Jack E. Wells Memorial Awards banquet is the signature event at the annual California Manufactured Housing Institute (C.M.H.I.) convention. The Pechanga Hotel and Resort in Temecula, CA was this year’s location for the convention and awards ceremony.
The Jack E. Wells award is presented annually to a person who has demonstrated long term outstanding service to C.M.H.I. and the manufactured housing industry. This prestigious award has often been equated to winning the “Oscar” in the manufactured housing industry.
This years’ Jack E. Wells Memorial Award was presented to Keith Casenhiser, the executive vice president of Bessier and Casenhiser, Inc.
Bessier and Casenhiser, Inc. is a full service property management company that operates mobile home parks and manufactured housing communities to their highest potential. Keith and his longtime partner, Dick Bessier, accomplish this by focusing on quality, honesty and accountability.
Bessier and Casenhiser, Inc. manage communities in California, Idaho and the Midwest. Keith and Dick are also owners of several manufactured home communities.
Keith has served on C.M.H.I.’s Board of Directors since 2006. He also has served on the Board of Directors of other industry associations, including a term as President of the Western Housing Communities Association (W.M.A.).
Keith’s dedication and continuing support of C.M.H.I. and the manufactured housing industry makes him a deserving recipient of this distinguished award. Keith is now the 63rd winner of the Jack E. Wells Memorial Award.
Jack Wells, through his company, co-sponsored the J.E.Wells award beginning in 1950. Jack was twice president of the Trailer Coach Association(TCA),and was remembered for his outstanding contributions to the industry and trade associations.
Following his death in 1971, the TCA Board of Directors decided that the following year the award would be known as the Jack E.Wells Memorial Award.
