Located on the southern Wisconsin state line, Beloit has been coined “Gateway to Wisconsin.” Beloit is full of historical buildings and the once booming railroad industry. This history is still detectable today in Beloit’s recently revitalized historic downtown. Located on the Rock River and Turtle Creek, Beloit is definitely a fishing, boating, and relaxation destination. Beloit takes their local history seriously and is proud to be one of two inaugural members of the Wisconsin Main Street designation.
